DLG AgroFood was founded in Poznan in 2004. Its objectives are to promote the Polish farming and food industry, provide agricultural know-how and to act as a platform for national and international contacts. DLG AgroFood is a subsidiary of the German Agricultural Society, DLG e.V., which is one of the top organisations in the German agriculture and food sector.
